The above chart shows the changing Chomper population in a sim where Sugar_and_Spice agents grow back according to grow rule Increment1. Chomper agents follow agent movement rule M and reproduce according to a sexual reproduction rule. Notice how the Chomper population reaches a level somewhere between 325 and 350. The carrying capacity of the sugarscape in which these Chompers interact falls within this range.

The above chart shows the mean Vision (blue) and mean Metabolism (magenta) values for a population of Chomper agents over time. The Chomper agents follow agent movement rule M and reproduce according to a sexual reproduction rule in a sugarscape of Sugar_and_Spice agents that grow back according to grow rule Increment1. Notice how mean Vision steadily increases over time while mean Metabolism steadily decreases. Selection pressures in the sugarscape make agents with long range vision and low metabolism more "fit", so they tend to be the ones that survive and reproduce.

Both of the charts above were generated using Microsoft Excel. You can use any graphing/analysis program that accepts comma delimited entries to make graphs from attribute values recorded in AGES. Use the AGES Write_Attribute_Value_to_File command to write attribute values to files as your agents interact over time.
